This thing is a piece of junk!!! We bought this at Target 2 years ago. We’ve used it maybe 10 times on 3-hr car trips and the thing just quit working. Won’t read the DVD. DO NOT BUY!!!!

I must say the negative reviews of this unit are a surprise. We’ve had one of these for almost 4 years and it has worked perfectly. It has read all DVD’s, even scratched ones very well. Sound has been plenty loud for our vehicles. It has been used VERY hard as we are a road vacationing and heavy travel family and it could not have been better. It took a hard kick on our last trip and is starting to act up and I am very sad to see it is almost impossible to find and isn’t made anymore.

We have had this DVD player for 2 years and have had no problems with it. My children are 3 and 5 and my 5 year old is autistic so this unit has seen a lot of wear and abuse. The only problem I have ever had with it is the power cord which broke but my 5 year old ripped it apart, hardly a problem with the unit. I repaired it and it works fine.

I bought mine in September of 2008 and so far have had no problems with it that were not my own causing. In the first week alone it came in handy as I went to different appointments and it occupied my son’s attention. When it failed to play in the middle of a road trip I was ready to take it back. Once we took a look at it we realized the switch was on the wrong setting (most likely one of my kids did that). The only other problem I had was from a racoon eating the cord off of one of the headsets! So anyways, the player is great!

I bought this at Target June 2008 because it was on sale. I thought$147 was a great price. I got it home and it looked like a quality product. I set it up and the picture was great. However, the remote control stopped working the day I bought the system. I took it back to Target, they exchanged it and brought the 2nd one home. The remote worked on this one, however, the 2nd screen jumped evertime the voices spoke and then the first screen stopped after 15 minutes and had strange vertical lines on the screen. I will take this back tomorrow!!! Don’t waste your time!!!
